Tree of Life 2011

I saw The Tree of Life during its opening weekend at Bell Light Box (The Toronto International Film Festival building by KPMB Architects, its fairly nice building in itself though it has a lot of slightly awkward out of the way nooks which for some are bad and for some are interesting)

Anyway, its an amazing movie. I heard that at mainstream theatres there were people walking out and bashing it ans such, which I undertand cause its a slow watch and its not blockbuster-esque in ANY way, but they are ALL WRONG. It was amaxing. It was like watching life, but beatiful. Any moment of that movie can be stilled and it will look like a perfect picture. No awkward angles. Plus the sound track blew my mind :)
