Tie Dye Hair

So i butchered my hair, or more accuratly, I paid a small fortune to have a professional butcher my hair. So now while it looks very nicely done, quality wise, it is NOT a look i can do at all. Actually its onyl a look that 80s rock band members (either gender) can do. So I'm going to attempt to fix it before tuesday, one way of another. I dont care how much chemicals it takes. So somehow I want a short version of this:

So basically imagine the same thing but bob length and more straight, and only about 5cm of the bottom front strands done in colour. BUT do not imagine a scene kid.
I'll update once this weekend is over on how it goes.

The Onagea Heel by B Brian Atwood

I'm in love, but yet again I can't have it. Its just way too much for a pair of shoes when I'm struggling to make it to September without hitting rock bottom. Getting my own apartment involved a lot of unanticipated costs :(

Recently I've had this one conversation with a few people. What would you do if you won the lottery? But not in the long run, but first day the money is transferred to your account. What what you buy?
For me it was, to go to Holt Renfrew and get something to help me find the perfect pair of comfortable but gorgeous heels no matter the price. I still have yet to find a good pair of heels. I have many of them but they are all rotting away without being worn more than twice.

Living Van Gohg Wall

I've been researching Green Walls, or Living Walls for a competition I am helping with at the office, and one of the examples I found was this. Quiet a new approach to fine art :) but I like it. If I have to have vines obscuring my architecture, it might as well be art.

Mona Lisa made out of Coffee

As much as it pains me to see SO much coffee go to waste, when it could be used to fuel my sleep deprived mind, this time it was to a good cause.

The different colours were created by adding no, little or lots of milk to each cup of black coffee.
It measures an impressive 20 feet high and 13 feet wide and took a team of eight people three hours to complete.
It was created for The Rocks Aroma Festival in Sydney, Australia, and seen by 130,000 people who attended the one-day coffee-lovers event.

Lufdesign's Leaf Tie!!!

This is a useful (considering we see ties like this used all the time) and very deceptive design for ties! Especially when used on branches, fences or wires (as seen below). I wish they were more wide spread so I can just go pick a pack up when ever. I am getting sick of internet shopping, even though its addictive, my VISA can't handle it anymore.

The Ebeling Group - Eye Writer

I saw The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, a French movie a few years ago. I remember watching it with my mom, her bawling her eyes out, and me getting a bit misty eyes too I admit. It was a good movie overall though.

Anyway, this project by the Edeling Group makes me remember that movie as it was about someone who is paralyzed and can only move his eyes. So this technology would be beyond ground breaking for people in a similar situation as him.
